I was greatly disturbed at hearing how the city of Pittsburg is swalling up Bay Point land, specifically the water front area.
I believe we have a strategic window of opportunity to move forward with this annexation. If Bay Point will be able to operate independently but under the leadership of Pittsburg but control our own services etc... I believe we will be much better off rather than waiting for the inevitable that will have much more negative impact on our community.
Bay Point needs to be kept together as a whole community. We need to protect and defend our entire community. Bay Point begins at the Willow Pass grade and ends at Harris Court off Willow Pass Road. Let us keep our community together by working to secure our own needs as we join in with our neighbors.

This is horrible news I have been in Bay Point for over 40 years and I have seen Pittsburg greed first hand The antioch mall was always antioch mall until is owned by pittsburg they took there border and wrapped it nicely around somersville to steal all of Antioch's revenue which we see how Antioch has turned out now they have never patrolled past crestview off leland until they staked claim to safeway when the bart initiative was passed $$$$ Im just saying that Pittsburg already has there problems do we really want them to lead our up and coming community NOT ME!
